The Mini Colt is a new compact version of the
establisted Colt 4 unit which is famous worldwide as an exceptional
smoke generator. The Mini Colt can make a considerable volume
of smoke without mains power after an initial heat-up period.
the unit off-mains power using the retained energy within
the high mass heat exchanger, allowing you to carry the generator
around, making
smoke
as required, without a trailing electrical lead. After being
on mains for around 15 minutes, the Colt will generate large
amounts of
smoke
for around 2 minutes whilst off power.
Connected to the mains, the unit can operate
continuously at full output.
Ideal for service with fire authorities, NATO
forces (eg for shipboard training), as well as analytical
laboratories, and HVAC contractors, the Mini Colt is simple
to use and reliable.
The Colt 4 units are ideal for when you require
extremely dense concentrations of smoke, or extremely large
volumes need to be filled with smoke. This is because smoke
produced by the Colt 4 is very persistent.
The artificial smoke from the Mini Colt 4 can
be ducted using optional ducting adaptors (to suit 25, 50
and 75mm ducting) enabling the smoke to be introduced into
a restricted area, duct or fume cupboard very easily.
Compared to the Colt 4, the only difference
is the size of the Mini Colt's metal chassis - all internal
smoke generating components are the same. |
