Smoke or fog? Which term is correct?
The correct term is fog, for fog is liquid particles
suspended in air. Smoke is solid particles in air - and our machines
certainly don't generate that! Our machines simulate smoke, but
in fact generate a fog. In the UK the term 'smoke machine' is
historically more common than 'fog machine' and so that's what
we call them!
