Review of: Le Maitre Mini Mist Turbo

Simple, small aerosol based unit ideal for fogging on location - very popular in the UK. Can be used off the mains for around 20 minutes. RRP £460
Le Maitre used to manufacture a similar unit which had remote control facility for more permanent installations called the "Optimist Turbo", now discontinued.

Heavy, ugly, leaky and unreliable.
Fluid canisters would leak when screwing on or out. Lots of rust accumulated around the back end of the machine after a couple of years use.
If I remember correctly (this was the eighties, after all - or to put it with more impact, last century), the smoke was not pleasantly flavoured. No, in fact it was - it was "disgusting" flavour! Had problems which I traced to the capilliary tube - cost me about £15.00 - lots of money in those days!
A horrid brown box!
