Sunrise
The stunning Weather Project installation at the Tate
Modern uses light, mirrors and haze to create an enormous sunrise.
Danish artist Olafur Eliasson created the atmospheric
installation, based on the British obsession with the weather, to
fill the entire Turbine Hall.
A
grand total of 16 Le
Maitre's Neutron XS Hazers were used. Some would suggest
overkill - a more persistent and efficient effect could be created
by using just one Phantom
Hazer, but the persistency of the haze may have meant
it 'leaked' unwanted into other areas of the gallery.
