The Jem Glaciator
X-Stream - a heavy fog machine with on-board
fog generator and refridgeration plant. Generates large
volumes of heavy fog without dry
ice or CO2.
N.B. Requires 3-phase
power supply.
3500W heat exchanger
1HP (34cc) compressor for max
cooling
10 min heat up time
5 litre fluid capacity
80m²/min smoke output
On-board control panel
Fog and fan control
Run and delay time control
On-board 2 channels 3 pin DMX
DMX link
Internal or external fluid supply
Two high velocity fans and
ventilation flows keep the Glaciator
X-Stream
working in environments of high ambient temperatures.
Internal components are monitored with unparalleled
simplicity using the Glaciator X-Stream’s Internal
Diagnostic Assistance.
Featuring a Power Save System when passive,
The Glaciator X-Stream is conscientiously efficient
with energy and sound, and its cooling fans have a low
noise operation when idle, benefiting theatrical and
studio applications.
The Glaciator X-Stream also has the option
of an external fluid supply; allowing large volumes
of heavy fog fluid to be stored up to 100 metres away
from the unit and at a depression of up to 6 metres.
For situations where noise is a problem
and space is limited, the Glaciator X-Stream’s
optional remote ducting system allows you to place the
unit up to 10 metres away from its application area.
A great solution, the remote access system does not
compromise the Glaciator’s X-Stream fog output
density.

heavy fog
No dry ice,
No CO2, No mess -
JUST HEAVY FOG!
There’s no doubt about it - a stage
covered with a blanket of white, dense low lying fog
is a dramatic and classical theatrical effect. However,
when the effect is all too often axed from theatrical
productions or leisure installations because dry ice
can be difficult to source, store and messy to use,
requiring boiling water to activate the fog effect.
These machines need no
dry ice, no boiling water and no bottles of CO2 or
liquid nitrogen. The Heavy Fog technology comprises
of a very heavy-duty refrigeration plant, which chills
the fog causing it to hug the floor, thereby simulating
the popular dry-ice effect.
The results are impressive
- a massive continuous flow of heavy fog at the touch
of a button. Its ease of use and cost effectiveness
means that performers can now experience fog effects
in rehearsals as well as the live performance environment.
Without question, the most
desirable atmospheric effect is that of a lush carpet
of ground-hugging fog. The trouble is that heavy fog
has always been seen as a luxury item affordable only
by the largest production companies. The vast size and
price of the machines, as well as their insatiable appetite
for three phase mains has put them beyond the reach
of amateur dramatic societies, smaller rental companies
and discotheques.
Pea Soup is proud to present
the ultimate cost effective self-contained heavy fog
generator - the cool solution to low fog effects that
makes heavy fog available to the masses!
This is a completely self-contained
Heavy Fog system. There are no separate components needed
to complete the process such as pressurised gas cylinders
and low pressure Dewar Vessels. That means no ice, no
gas, no mess, no fuss. Revolutionary in its simplicity
- just plug in and fog. Any excessive moisture as a
result of fog condensation or defrost is collected in
a “pull out” drip tray.
