Operation:

diameter - the smallest particle size of any of our machines.
(Theatrical systems' smoke particle size
can be anything up to 60 microns - a human hair is approx
100 microns).

You can produce lots
of
smoke
'off power' allowing you to carry the generator around, making
smoke
as required, without a trailing electrical lead. After being
on mains for around 15 minutes, the smoke machine will generate
large amounts of
smoke
for up to 2 minutes within 30 minutes after being unplugged.
The remote control unit can be used off-power
with the on-board button, but not with the remote control.
Connected to mains power, all
machines can operate continuously at full output.
In service with numerous fire authorities world-wide,
many NATO forces (including the USN for shipboard training),
as well as analytical laboratories, clean rooms, asbestos
removal specialists, and HVAC contractors, these smoke machines
have a reputation for simplicity of operation and reliability.
These units are ideal for when you require extremely
dense concentrations of smoke, or extremely large volumes
need to be filled with smoke. This is because smoke produced
is very persistent. The high power version (PS25)
generates even more smoke than the normal model and is one
of the most powerful hand held
smoke
generators available today. |

Overseas ordering of pre-pressurised smoke fluid
aerosols
The box of 10 smoke fluid aerosols are pre-pressurised,
which means they cost more to ship overseas than a normal container
of fluid as they are classed as 'hazardous'. To lower the cost of
shipping and further reduce running costs of your smoke machine,
we can supply a refillable canister option. Instead of using the
pre-pressurised aerosols, re-fillable aerosol cans can simply be
pressurised by a hand pump, airline (e.g. in a garage forecourt)
or inert gas supply. You simply buy our refillable can (£24.00)
and a 5 litre container of our smoke fluid (£45.00) which
will fill the can around 14 times. It is possible to re-fill the
same can up to 100 times. You can, of course, purchase any number
of 5 litre containers at the time of your order.
Also available: PS21 Quick Dispersing Smoke Generator
The PS21 which works in exactly the same way as the
PS23 machine mentioned above, but produces a smoke which dissipates
in a few minutes at 20C. This machine is mainly used by
special effects people for smoke that needs to disperse quickly
and not smoke log a location. By using it with a fan, a steam
effect can be created (increasing air movement increases
rate of smoke evaporation). It is also used by some hospitals for
their fire safety evacuation training where they need a thick smoke
effect, but when the smoke must disperse after
the test without ventilation.
